A team captain may want to link his past year's data, such as team members and team sponsors to his current fundraising campaign, but the process is not automatic. Because team captains can change from year to year, as well as team names, the connection must be applied manually.

Directions for the Team Captain to Request the Connection

How to get there:

The team captain will login to their fundraising page

Click on "Profile" from the menu on top, first button on the left side. 

What to do:

Toward the bottom of the screen, click on the link titled, "Request to View Past Team Sponsor Information".

This will send the administrator an email requesting the connection.

Directions for the Administrator

How to get there:

Login to the Wizathon account.

Click on the "Teams" tab.

Click on the first action item, "edit" (pencil icon).

What to do:

Click on the "Team Profile" button from the menu on the top, first from the left. 

Under the line "Last Year's Team Connection", select the previous team you would like to connect him with.

Click "Save Team Profile Changes" on the bottom to maintain those changes.

Alternatively, as an administrator, you could preempt the team request process by monitoring registrations, and connecting a new team to the past team as soon as the team captain registers.
