The process of formatting your text ads so they fit the slide space well and keep the lines or paragraphs together is automated with one click. This is accomplished via the "magic slide" tool under manage ads.

2020 Version Solution:

How to get there:

  • Login to your Wizevents account.
  • Click on the Websites (Journals) tab.
  • Locate the event you'd like to view. Click on the name of the event or hover over the three dots to the right of the event name and choose manage ads.
  • Locate the ad you'd like to view. Click on the name of the ad or hover over the three dots to the right of the ad name and choose edit.

What to do:

Enter the desired text in the text box, if it is not already there.

Under the Other Actions heading, click on the magic wand icon, Magic Ads.  This will format your text nicely on the ad slide.

If you do not see that icon, click on the Remove Format icon (large T crossed out) under the Other Actions heading. This will remove all formatting and allow the magic wand to appear and format the text more appropriately.

Click Save With Current Status to maintain your changes and Discard to cancel your changes.

Old Version Solution:

How to get there:

Login to your Wizadjournal back end account.

Click on the "Ads" tab.

Locate the pending ad you would like to format and click on the first action item, "edit" (pencil icon).

What to do:

Locate the "magic slide" button on the bottom row of tools, second from the right.

Click on it to see a formatted version of the ad. You can now click on the same button, which is now "unformat slide" to change the ad back to its unformated format.

Click "Save" to maintain your changes.

Note that this is an automated attempt to format the ad text with one click. If you are not satisfied or only partially satisfied with the automated formatting, you can continue to tweak the format of the ad with the tools available on the ad edit screen. You can also revert back to the unformated text by clicking on the same button which now says "unformat slide".
