Wizathon offers the ability to write up and modify sample text to be used as templates for your participants for fundraising emails and for communication between team captains and their members. The purpose of these templates is to make it easy for participants to solicit their friends and family -- they can take your sample text and modify it for their own use.
How to get there:
Login to your Wizathon back end account.
Click on the "Setup/Tools" tab.
Click on either "Sample Participant Email Text" or "Sample Team Captain Email Text" under "System Settings".
What to do:
Create a new letter by clicking the New icon or edit a letter by clicking the pencil to the right of it.
Enter/edit the text, and save your changes.
There are also variables that can be used within emails that will automatically replace the variable with the participant/teams's information.
%participant_name% - replaces with participant name
%page% - replaces with participant's page URL
%goal-amount% - replaces with the participant's goal amount
%team_name% - replaces with team name
