Wizathon now offers 2 options with regards to offsetting registration processing fees.
A. Offer registrants the option to choose to pay the Wizathon & credit card processing fees .
B. Include a mandatory Signup Fee per ticket.
Please Note: These 2 options are mutually exclusive. If you choose to use the mandatory Signup Fees, if a registrant makes a donation at the time of his registration, he will not have the option to cover the processing fees related to the donation portion of his registration.
You may also create a discount code to remove these mandatory Signup fees for offline registrations. Please see here for details.
Option A: Option to choose to pay the Wizathon & Credit Card Processing Fees
How to get there:
Login to your Wizathon back end system.
Click on the "Setup/Tools" tab.
Click on "System Settings" and scroll down to "General Settings".
What to do:
(Wepay/Stripe Customers: Under the heading "Registration Customizations" , click the check box marked "Optional Charity Processing Fee for Registration Credit Card transactions".
Authorize.Net Customers: Under the heading "Registration Customizations" , enter a percentage amount in the "Optional Charity Processing Fee for Registration Credit Card transactions" field.)
Click on the checkbox next to "Optional Charity Processing Fee for Registration Credit Card Transactions"
Click "Save General Settings" to maintain your changes.
Option B: Mandatory Signup Fee per Ticket
How to get there:
Login to your Wizathon back end system.
Click on the "Setup/Tools" tab.
Click on "Registration Form Setup-Participant & Volunteer Tickets, Questions, Discounts, Goals"
What to do:
Under the "Ticket Types" heading, click on "Add Ticket Type" or click the "edit (pencil icon)" next to an existing ticket type.
Adjacent to the "Ticket Price" and "Early Bird Ticket Price", enter your desired signup fee.
Click "Save Ticket Type Changes" to maintain.
