Follow the steps below to copy over opening slides from a previous year ad journal to the current year ad journal


STEP 1: First Write Down the Names of the Opening Slides that you want to copy over from previous year slideshow


How to get there: 

  • Login to your Wizevents account.
  • Click on the Websites (Journals) tab.
  • Change "Event Status" to "Archived"
  • Locate the archived event that you'd like to copy over opening slides. Click on the name of the event or hover over the three dots to the right of the event name and choose manage ads.


What to do:

Order the slides (click on the column header "Sponsorship Level"

Copy the names of the opening slides that you want to copy over (in order)



STEP 2: Copy Over the prior year opening slides.


How to get there: 

  • Go back to the Control Panel
  • Click on the Websites (Journals) tab.
  • Change "Event Status" to "Active"
  • For the active event that you want to copy over opening slides, Click on the name of the event or hover over the three dots to the right of the event name and choose manage ads.


What to do:

For each opening slide that you want to move over click "Create Ad", type the name of the slide to copy over in the "Last Name" field, click the box "Remove Name within Ad", click "Save with Current Status". 


Copying over the opening slides form previous year

For each slide to copy over, hover over the 3 dots next to the name of the ad slide to copy over and click "Recycle Past Ad"

Enter any part of the name of the opening slide to be copied, enter the name of the slide into the box labeled Last year's ad name.

You will redirected to the Edit Ad Slide page with the ad slide from last year's slideshow on your current slide. You can review and edit the ad, as needed. 

Click Save With Current Status or Save and Make Active to maintain your changes.
