Complimentary ads, where no financial information needs to be recorded, are created directly via the Wizadjournal admin backend rather than through your registration form.  Note that no financial information is recorded for ads entered in this manner.

2020 Version Solution:


How to get there: 

  • Login to your Wizevents account.
  • Click on the Websites (Journals) tab.
  • Locate the event you'd like to make changes to. Click on the name of the event OR on the same line, under the actions column, click on the three dots and choose manage ads.
  • Click on the create new ad button.


What to do:


Ad Status: Using the Status drop down on the top of screen change “pending” to “active” when you're ready for the ad to display on the event website. 


Honoree: Select the honoree the ad is dedicated to, if applicable.


Ad Text: Enter or paste the tribute ad text in the text box editor. If pasting the text from another source, use the “Paste as Plain Text” option on the editor tool bar. Change the text appearance using the enter key to create line breaks or by highlighting text and choosing a formatting option from the editor’s tool bar. You can also use the Magic Ad tool, under Other Tools, to have the system automatically format the the ad for you.


First and Last Name: The names typed in the First and Last Name fields will automatically display at the bottom of a text based ad.  As well, what is listed in the First and Last Name fields for ads will automatically display in the scrolling list of sponsors on the home page of the event website and in the “Sponsors by Category” drop down. If you do not want the names that are typed in the First and Last Name fields to automatically display at the bottom of a text based ad, click on the checkbox, "Remove name from within the ad"


Text Size: Change the global text size for the proper fit on the ad slide by choosing for “Ad Copy Size” Regular, Larger, Smaller or X Small.


Background: Choose the Giving Category from the dropdown.


Design Option: For a text based ad choose the “Design Option” option “None”.


Click Save with Current Status to maintain your changes or Discard to cancel your changes. 



Old Version Solution: 



To get there:

Login to your Wizadjournal back end system.
Click on the "Manage Ads" tab.



What to do:
Click on the button above the list of ads “Create New Ad”
