You may have uploaded a full page graphic to your ad journal that doesn't meet the 1000px x 670px dimensions of the ad area.  The resize feature allows you to change the width and/or height of your uploaded ad.

2020 Version Solution:

How to get there:

  • Login to your Wizevents account.
  • Click on the Websites (Journals) tab.
  • Locate the event you'd like to make changes to. Click on the name of the event OR on the same line, under the actions column,  the three dots and choose manage ads.
  • Locate the ad that you'd like to update to by typing the last name into the search box. Click on the ad name OR on the same line, under the actions column, click on the three dots and choose edit.

What to do:

Under the Auto Calc Resize heading, you can click on the tools to either, respectively, decrease the graphic by 10%, increase the graphic by 10%, or make the graphic full page. You can also enter the exact size you'd like the graphic to be by entering the width and height (in pixels) in the Manual Resize section.

You can click on the Restore icon to revert the graphic back to the original

Click Save With Current Status/Save and Make Active to maintain your changes and Discard to cancel your changes.

Old Version Solution:

How to get there:

Login to your Wizadjournal back end account.

Click on the "Ads" tab.

Click on the first action item, "edit" (pencil icon).

What to do:

Under "Design Option", please select "Ad Graphic Full Page", if you haven't already.

If you want the ad to maintain its proportions, click the "Lock Ratio" box and change either the width 1000px OR the height 670px or click on the 3rd Resize Icon, "full screen".

If you want the ad to fill the entire slide area, which may distort it, do not click the "Lock Ratio" box and change the width to 1000px AND the height 670px.

If you want to increase/decrease the size of the graphic by 10%, click on either the 1st or 2nd Resize Icon, "Decrease 10%/Increase 10%".

Then, click the resize button.

Finally, click "Save ad" to maintain your changes.
